Das vierte Ginkgo Garden-Album "Back In Time" nimmt den Hörer auf eine musikalische Zeitreise ins Jurazeitalter mit. Damals, vor über 200 Millionen Jahren, war Mutter Natur noch jung, und der älteste Baum der Welt, der Ginkgo, ließ seine allerersten Sprossen wachsen. Dinosaurier wanderten über die Erde, die Existenz des Menschen lag noch in ferner Zukunft, und die Symbiose von Tieren und Pflanzen war friedlich.

Mastermind Eddy F. Müller, der auch für dieses neue Ginkgo Garden-Album sämtliche Titel schrieb, kreierte bei der Produktion auch ein musikalisches "Back In Time":
Eine Mixtur aus Gesangsstimmen, Gitarren, Saxophonen, japanischen Bambusflöten (Shakuhachi), analogen Keyboardsounds und fernöstlichen Sample-Klängen ergibt einen asiatisch-europäischen Retro-Sound, der das Leitthema der CD unterstützt und den Ginkgo Garden-Stil einmal mehr unverwechselbar macht. Stilbezeichnungen wie "New Age", "New Instrumental" oder "World Music" treffen hier immer nur bedingt zu - denn Ginkgo Garden will bezaubern und nutzt dafür viele Stilmittel.

For their fourth album "Back In Time" Ginkgo Garden turn the clock back over 200 million years and enter the age of Dinosaurs - the so - called Jurassic Period. Mother Nature was still young then and the ginkgo, the oldest tree in the world, spread its first sprouts. Dinosaurs appeared and the existence of mankind lay far ahead. The symbiosis of animals and plants was peaceful.

Mastermind Eddy F. Mueller, who once again has written all compositions for this new Ginkgo Garden album, created a musical time travel and went "Back In Time" with his choice of instruments and elements: a mixture of voices, guitars, saxophones, Japanese bamboo flutes (Shakuhachi), analog keyboard sounds and "Far Eastern" sound samples adds up to an Asiatic/European retro sound which enhances the album’s central idea and fits perfectly into the unique style of Ginkgo Garden. Established characterisations like "New Age" or "New Instrumental" or "World Music" can only partly describe this music ­ because Ginkgo Garden use a multitude of styles to enchant the listener.

Mueller, die ook ditmaal weer alle tracks componeerde voor het nieuwe GINKGO GARDEN album creeerde en muzikale reis en ging daarbij terug in de tijd met een keuze van instrumenten en diverse elementen, Het is een mix geworden van Voices, Gitaren, Saxofoons, Japanse Bamboo fluiten, analoge keyboard sounds en sound samples uit het Verre Oosten. Dit alles bij elkaar geeft een Aziatisch/ Europese retro sound aan het centrale thema van deze CD en past perfect in de unieke stijl van Ginkgo Garden. Gevestigde begrippen als "New Age" of "New Instrumental" of "World Music" kunnen zijn muziek slechts voor een deel beschrijven - omdat Ginkgo Garden een veelvoud aan stijlen gebruikt om zijn luisteraars te bekoren.

Voor radiopromotie wordt de single ‘Riding On The Waves Of Time’ uitgebracht.
