Die GINKGO GARDEN-CD >LETTERS FROM EARTH< (BSC/Prudence) - dreizehn Briefe, geschrieben mit der musikalischen Feder von EDDY F. MÜLLER - ist GINKGO GARDENs neueste Botschaft. Es ist EDDY F. MÜLLERs weiterer Brückenschlag zwischen Ost und West, Musik und Malerei, Menschheit und Natur, Himmel und Erde. Es ist der Versuch, Inspirationen und Empfindungen in Musik umzusetzen, verbunden mit der Hoffnung, dass sich die Zuhörer auf diese neue entspannende Reise mitnehmen lassen. Ein neuer, künstlerischer Akzent wurde bei der neuen GINKGO GARDEN-Musik von EDDY F. MÜLLER hinzugefügt: kurze, japanisch gesprochene Haiku- und Tanka-Gedichte sowie Bibelzitate, als Huldigung der Natur und deren Schöpfer. Das musikalisch-japanisch interpretierte Goethe-Gedicht >Ginkgo Biloba< weist wie das geteilte Blatt darauf hin, dass wir eins und doppelt sind. Der Versuch, Musik mit Malerei zu verbinden, ist wörtlich zu nehmen: Für die neue GINKGO GARDEN-CD wurde ein 16-seitiges Booklet entwickelt, das die Atmosphäre eines jeden der 13 Musik-Titel mit einem entsprechenden Ginkgo-Ölgemälde von Atsuko Kato unterstreicht. Wie viele andere Künstler auch, hat sich Atsuko Kato, eine renommierte, japanische Malerin, die seit 1976 in Deutschland lebt und mit ihrer Kunst eine "Vereinigung mit der Natur" anstrebt, immer wieder vom ästhetischen Reiz der Ginkgoblätter inspirieren lassen. So sind ihre Bilder die Darstellungen pflanzlicher Landschaften (oder Elemente) mit der Symbiose von Orient und Okzident. Atsuko Katos Bilder sind die malerische Ergänzung einiger GINKGO GARDEN-CDs. |

Die CD >LETTERS FROM EARTH< wurde mehrfach veröffentlicht: So entschloss sich WELTBILD 1999 dieses Album in einer Kombibox herauszubringen: Die CD, zusammen mit einem kleinen Bildband, mit Ginkgobilder von Atsuko Kato, wurde zu einem Verkaufsrenner! Die Leitung des Pharmakonzerns Dr. Willmer Schwabe war von der Musik ebenfalls so begeistert, dass sie sich entschloss, "Letters From Earth" als unverkäufliche Werbe-CD für ihr Ginkgo-Produkt "Tebonin" zu nutzen. |

After the successful >Secret Call< CD, there is the release of GINKGO GARDEN’s new brilliant concept album >Letters From Earth< (BSC / Prudence) in 1999 with thirteen musical letters sent from earth to all people of our world. With this crystalline pop production, dramatic rhythms and evocative world influences EDDY F. MUELLER sets out once again to build imaginary bridges between East and West, music and painting, mankind and nature, Heaven and Earth. Inspiration and emotion are transposed into music: The >Letters From Earth< are composed of familiar GINKGO GARDEN music elements and some new ideas: Japanese spoken poems and quotations from the Bible, vocal pop songs, catchy saxophone and synth hook lines and a fantastic CD booklet full of painted ginkgo dreams. Time and again artists have been inspired by the aesthetic charm of ginkgo leaves. Atsuko Kato, a Japanese painter who has lived in Germany since 1976, strives for “unity with nature” through her inspirational art. The organic landscapes of Atsuko Kato paintings portray symbiosis of orient and occident. The ginkgo image is a recurring motif throughout her work. Some GINKGO GARDEN CD covers as well as the booklet of >Letters From Earth< are creations by Atsuko Kato.
